I have a new 3125 which I unlocked and use with T-Mobile. I would like to record in-progress phone conversations. I downloaded LivePVR, a combination phone recorder, voice recorder, and meeting recorder. The other functions work fine, but the phone recorder simply won't work. When trying to record a call, the program appears as if it is working properly, but no audio file is produced.

I'm wondering if this is some kind of legal issue, and HTC, or Cingular, has prevented that functionality in the registry or firmware or something like that. Has anyone else tried to record phone conversations with the 3125?

Try reinstalling it, LivePVR works fine on mine. However, I have noticed a conflict between LivePVR and XBar3 so if you are using Xbar, I would suggest closing that before running LivePVR.

I tried reinstalling, with the same result. I am using the 30-day trial version...I wonder if the phone recording feature is disabled in this version?

I never got PVR to work but solved the problem with Vito's Audio Notes. Works GREAT.
