I have problem with my mpx200.I flashed the phone to WM2005,the phone worked perfectly for 2 hours or so,i turned the phone off with battery almost full, put it on my table, and i slept for 10 hours. When i woke up,tried to start the phone, nothing happens, same thing with charging and connecting to the PC via USB.
Can you please help,is that related to battery, fuse,or is it the software and burned phone.

One more thing,i tried to take the battery out for 30 minutes,2 hours,10 hours, nothing happened,

It looks like your trying two different methods at the same time. If you are trying to flash it with the update wizard, just press and hold the left direction on the d-pad (don't touch the power button) and plug it into the PC while holding the left d-pad. To try a hard reset you press and hold the blue action button in the center of the d-pad while turning on the phone with the power button (not left on the d-pad).

Still nothing happened. And I did see the screen flash when I pressed the left button and power button at the same time, does that mean my phone still can get into the boot mode? I have tried more than 100 times ,and the update wizard just can't find the phone !!! God , I need U!

usually when we plug the phone with PC, and in the update mood, we can hear a sound just like a USB storage being put into. But now when I connect the phone with the PC, nothing I can hear!

Take the battery out and leave it out for a while.
Put the battery back in and plug the phone in to the charger.
It may take a little while before it start charging so be patient.
After it has been charging for a while, start the Moto Upgrade Wizard and follow the instructions on the screen as it relates to preparing the phone for the upgrade.
When you get to the screen where it ask you to hold down the "LEFT" arrow key (to the left of the big blue button), hold that button down and plug the USB cable in to the phone. DON'T touch the power button when you do this and also make sure that the phone is turned OFF before you start.
The upgrade wizard should find the phone and you are in business.

After that, flash the phone and follow the instructions that you can find here on this site.

I have done what you said, but nothing happened. I wonder why there are two different instructions: one says that we should press "power" while press "left",the other says we just need press "left". So, which is correct? And I surely can see the screen flashed when I press the "left" and "power", and with some machine, I can define that the votalge is right OK,showing that the motherboard is OK.

GOD, help me !!!!!!!!!!

You still seem to be confusing the two different directions. One thing you could try is a hard reset. This requires you to press the power button, but NOT the left d-pad at all. Instructions on how to hard reset are found here. This required you to press the big blue button in the MIDDLE of the d-pad, NOT the left direction.

The second thing, and most likely to revive your phone, is reflashing the ROM. In order to do this you should at no point touch the power button. Press and hold the left d-pad while plugging the phone into your PC. Don't touch the power button while doing this. There is no combination of pressing left and power during either of these methods.

Sounds like you have either the wrong version of the Moto Upgrade Wizard or the wrong driver for the phone.

Does the phone show up as a modem when you go to "System" and then "Hardware"?

It sounds like you have either the wrong version of the Moto Upgrade Wizard and/or the wrong driver for the phone.

Drop me an email and I will upload the right version that I use to upgrade to WM5 with, including the right WM5 ROM, to a place where you can download it from.

I am not sure I understand why you press the left button and the power button.

That button combination is not used for anything that I know of.

^=^

Why I did that is because I have read the instructions for updating the mpx200 in Chinese,it says I should Press the combination. And I did get some success in some mpx200 s. I have done that for about 3 pieces of mpx200. And I wonder is there any sounds like when we plug some usb stuff in the PC. Because when I did the combination, I could hear that.

I have no idea why the instructions would say to use that button combination.

You start the Moto Upgrade Wizard and at about the second or third step you hold down the left button ONLY and keep holding it down while you plug the USB cable in to the phone. The Wizard will then either recognize the phone and you can select the image that you want to flash to it, or it will return an error message that the phone was not found. In that case it is most likely a driver issue.

I am pretty sure that if you try to do it any other way than the above described, you stand a pretty good chance of turning the phone in to a Paperweight.
