HI,

I did a hard reset, and now it won't power on.
When I plug in the power cord, I don't see the battery signal on the front either.

Help.

What OS are you using? Take the battery out for an hour or two, then put it back in and put it on the charger. It should start charging then, and you should be able to flash the ROM at that point.

I think it is WM2002.

I got this phone from a friend, but it had the security code in it, so I thought that by doing a hard reset, it would erase the security code.

thanks.

I took the battery out for an hour, then put in and the charger, and the powered up..
I got the motorola screen, and then it died.
Haven't been able to get it to work (or charge) anymore.

Any suggestions?

thanks

Do the same thing again, take the battery out for a few hours, then put it on the charger until it is fully charged. You should then be able to either hard reset or at very least flash the ROM. Flashing the ROM should be a last resort, but should be able to fix the problem.

When the phone becomes fully charged when it is powered off it will vibrate if it is not charging at all then the internal fuse may have blown.

As Awarner said, the fuse may have blown and needs to be replaced. See this thread for instructions on how to do that.

Hi
The problem happened to me several times. I would like to add something here:

Problem: The MPx200 won't on/start after any tweak

My solution: Remove the battery and hold the blue [action] button while pressing the power button for several second [like doing hard reset action/process]. I'm not which will work sure, but try to push the jog dial also. Put the battery back in, and start the phone like you normally do.

What happened: This action will [i believe] will disconnect the internal battery resulting internal system reset [like resetting CMOS memory from PC motherboard]. You will have to reset the time + date after that.

It's work for me every time; unless your MPx200 fuse is out. Hope this will helps smile.gif
