My mpx200 is brand new, maybe a month old. all of a sudden the button lights stopped working and now i just get a weird humming noise everytime they are suppsed to be lit comming from the top right of the keypad. any way i could fix that myself? or send it somewhere. its unlocked, so i cant send it to where i bought it

Sorry but you have been hit with a well known and dreaded Key Pad bug with the phone. About the only place you can send it to is Motorola, and they will provide you with a refurbished phone that will most likely be locked. Your options are pretty much limited to Motorola, upgrading to a new phone (or getting another 200 from eBay), or living with the bad bad bug...
