 MMS Client Software for MPx200 (with WM2003) |

Hi, I have successfully upgraded my MPx200 from WM2002 to WM2003. However, the upgrade did not install any MMS client. Can anyone please advise me on where I can get an MMS client for WM2003?
Oh yeah, could anyone please point out any site where I can download the WM2002 firmware, in case I want to revert back.

Thanks a million! Sorry there is not MMS for the MPX200 running 2003. You would need to go back to a 2002 firmware that has it embedded or add on the Orange MMS that is floating around. No asking for firmware on the boards. You can ask about them.

The Orange MMS only works with 2002. Sorry if I did not make that clear.

ok, a few questions... the windows smartphone thing is NOT a firmware, is it? It's just something you download and "copy->paste" it, right? And... if you can't ask for firmware in the firmware section... were are you supposed to ask for it? I can't find it either in the forum neither in the website. Am I supposed to go to Motorola? I havent found that sort of stuff there, but if you insist that they have it their, I'll look harder since I don't realy like eMuling that kind of stuff, just in case. Thanks in advance!

Well if you are that determined then some time, patience, and google could be your best friend in your endevors. We closed the firmware request forum a few weeks ago (various reasons). Yes the windows mobile upgrade is Firmware that is loaded in boot loader (you will understand if you come across it, there should be detailed instructions included on the whole process.

thanks! I kinda understand it a bit more now. I'm new in smartphones and I didn't quite know what it all was about. I've been googleing about and I've found a lot of info, but it's all so disperse that it's quite difficult to know what's updated and what's outdated. And now I know why you don't have the mpx200 firmwares in your web, lol. I'm not surprised at all that Motorola doesn't want people to have 220 features in the 200 phone.

Well... there is a mms client for WM2003... Arcsoft mms composer... there is a version in chinese...with a patch to translate it to english

Hi everyone, I understand completely why direct links can't be posted here, but would it be possible for someone to e-mail me the following info? I have done a lot of googling but it's hard to say what is up to date and what isn't. 1) What is the latest/best 2003 update ROM for the MPX200 (in English) 2) Where are good places to find these?
