sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif My external display backlight doesn't work when close the flip and press the volume key (Flip close)

-The backlight only work when i turn on the phone (when Moto logo) it's only +-5 second work and doesn't work again,
-and when the phone off and plug the charge cable the backlight is work and when i press the volume key it's work too

Have you recently changed the case?
If I remember right there is a small magnet inside the case somewhere that sences if the cover is open or closed.

Hello.
J have the same problem. J have opened the case, and since that backlight on external LCD not working. Phone "think" that the flip is all time open.
Can anybody tell me where is exacly this magnet??
Please help me!

Welcome to Mobile Gadget News!! Your English is actually very good!

I've never opened my 200, so I don't know first hand where it is on this particular phone. But, I have opened my 220 and it was located in the top part of the flip underneath the PCB in the upper right corner. There was a defined place in the plastic where the magnet was supposed to sit. When you pulled the PCB up and out of place, the magnet would stick to the back of the board. I used a tweazer to grab it and put it back in it's well, then slid the tweazer off the magnet being VERY careful not to touch anything else in the process.

Check here for info on how to take your 200 apart. I believe the magnet is the little yellow rectangle that can be specifically seen in this photo:
