Hi,
I bought a MPx200 2 days ago from a friend and I am simply fascinated.
I installed tons of apps/games on it.(I even flashed it to wm5, but i couldnt install SP2 on my desktop PC, so i downgraded back to wm2003)

Some days ago, in a russian forum, I saw, that a program called Nyditot Virtual Display could be used to emulate bigger display and/or apply rotation for this phone(sadly i lost the link).I have tried the demo version of the program but the phone says its "not intended for this device".Is there a way to change the resolution of the display(emulate it) with this virtual display program or any other application of this sort?

Greetings!

Demo version from Russian site? Funny!!!
You messed up the name of the program - I am Russian and I am not sure that it's possible to spell such a word in Russian without causing someone to laugh.
What is comin up to me - maybe you mean SideWindow or TrueConnect? But it's kinda smartphone as a second display for your PC...

It may be possible to do what others have done with PPC applications to install them to Smartphones. You'd have to install it to a PPC first, copy the .exe from the PPC, then paste it to the phone.

You dun need to install to PPC to extract the files.
There's an app taht allows you to examine the cab file & even extract the contents in it actual format. The xml or inf file can be read & gives you idea where the files should be stored & if any registry entry needed to be added.
It's called the MSCEInf available here.
It'll be a lot easier & faster too.
Cheers!
