To get the unlock code for free from T-mobile, call international services, and tell them that you will be going overseas and will be using another sim in your phone while you are abroad. They will ask you to punch some number in your phone and a number will show up on the screen. Read it to them, and within 72 hours they will email you the unlock code for your phone.
