I picked up a smt5600 which for some reason will not produce any sounds (ie. ringtone). I've tried the hard reset but to no avail. I've taken it apart, I did not find anything evidently wrong with it. I believe the speaker is located just above the camera in that housing. There are 3 screws and glue holding that housing together so I can't get in it. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting the sound to work?

or does anyone have a dead/broken one they don't need? I just need that one part.

What operating system is it running? Perhaps someone tried to load a different OS not designed for it.
