I'm not sure this is really a treo 700W specific question but more of a WM5 issue...

I sync wirelessly with works Exchange server. This sends me new messages that have arrived in my mailbox onto my hand device.

However, I get a lot of email, many of them are technical are informative and normally I would not delete on my workstation at work until much later. But having them stick around on my handheld makes quite a clutter.

I have found that if I delete them on my handheld, Exchange deletes them on the exchange system.

Is there a way to remove messages that I've read without "deleting them" from the exchange system so they are no longer on the handheld??

Figured someone might know of a way.

I have a Saved Items folder with my Exchange account, and if I get an email I don't want on my device but I want left on the server, I just moved it to the Saved Items folder. It will get removed from the device, but stay on the server in that folder.

Organize your emails in sub-folders under your inbox and move them. Other than that you are out of luck. The whole point of synchronization is that they stay the same.
