if u wanna run omapclock all the time (so that it boots right a way when u power on the phone) look at the site from gpcarreon. I have mine mpx with wm5 set to 144 mhz constantly and i also dont notice any big battery changes...also u can underclock it wich will save a few hours batterylife probarly...i can set mine to 104 mhz and the phone runs great but u notice the speed difference playing snes emu and stuff..

yea 144 worked fine for me...but i also had that information from another forum, persons who already tested it lol... i tried 150 and i crashes in like seconds...so 144 is max: on wm5 mpx200 devices...maybe if u have 2002 or 2003 u can clock higher...who knows..

yea its a cool program, here some more info quoted:

"Software is from russian forum (link in About) so “our Russian friends” can explain everything better smile.gif
Program is for overclocking and underclocking mpx200. Underclocking should improve battery life, overclocking gains few percents in TCPMP benchmark, so it can be usefull for high CPU usage applications (video/audio players, maybe some games as well).
Overcloking on highest level (155Mhz) is NOT recomended on mpx200 with wm5, system will hang and overclocking can cause HW damage at all. Thats everything I know about it and nothing more is on mobilnaut.cz"

basicly everything u need to known...overclocking is good for playing emu's, play music/vids and stuff but if u wanna have a better batterylife u could underclock it.. so a great utility..

Omapclock.exe

here is the english BABELFISH translation from the orig. russian readme file

- = OmapClock v0.2 = - 4/02/2006
On the program OmapClock - this is the program, intended for uvelicheniya/umen'sheniya of the clock frequency of the processor of smartfonov, built on the base of platform Texas Instruments OMAP® ____________________________ Parameters of the kommandnoy line OmapClock -.chlochk [ - confirm ] [ - launch [ - restore ] ] -.chlochk establishes the frequency of processor in MHz -.chonfirm to require the confirmation of a change in the frequency to -.launchyu to neglect the program (way to indicate in the dual quotation marks!) to -.restore to restore previous frequency after the completion of the neglected program (it is ignored, if is not assigned the parameter to -.launchyu) The priority of the parameters does not have a value. Examples: OmapClock -.chlochk 132 OmapClock -.chlochk of 144 -.chonfirm OmapClock of -.chlochk 144 to -.launchyu "\.Storage\.test.ekhe" to -.restore _______________ History of the versions v0.2 [ add ] the support of kommandnoy line [ fix ] is extended the range of accessible frequencies (now '0-e"2MGts) [ fix ] it is reduced the step of a change in the frequency (not on entire range) v0.1 - first version of program. It made it possible simply to select frequency from the range of "2-yshch'MGts, with the step into y2MGts. ______________ Compatability According to the idea must work on any OMAP-smartfone. Is given below the list of smartfonov on which it it were checked: - Motorola MPx200 (OMAP710) - Motorola MPx220 (OMAP1611), thanks localhost - Rover M1 (OMAP710), thanks virrus _______________________________ Known problemy/osobennosti - to MPx200 WM2005 the installation of yshch'MGts of vsegda(?) it leads to the immediate hovering. Sometimes it hovers also to yyayaMGts. It works normally on ye2MGts. - on MPx200 WM2003 with yshch'MGts can work long time normally, then, if we it leave at rest for 10 minutes, to unexpectedly zavisnut' (external screen it shines, internal no and telephone not on what it reacts) or to begin to glyuchit' (they spoil ikonki of labels). It may happen that after the reloading, caused by these failures, the system becomes clean as after Hard Reset (they set tuning to default, they are lost contacts, etc.). It works normally on yyayaMGts; - the hoverings, described above, usually lechyatsya the removal of the storage battery (in this case smartfon it can for long not be included, more than 20 minutes), but they are noted for and the "heavy" cases, when does not help even Hard Reset and it was necessary to pereproshivat' telephone anew. - on some (but not all) MPx200 with a change in the frequency changes the gradation of color or screen brilliance; - at frequencies 10%) it is distinguished. Is created impression, that in MPx220 quartz not of y2MGts as usual, but yyMGts. if this is so, then it is necessary to believe TCPMP. - on Rover M1 with the frequency, it is more than y''MGts, productivity sharply falls. _______ F.A.Q. Q: Program issues communication "Can't access to Clock-Control registers" and is not started. What not thus? A: Most likely the telephone of "zalochen". "To razlochit'" is possible by program SDA_.ApplicationUnlock (it will not find only lazy). Q: In me mPx200, after acceleration after a certain time the telephone of zavis. I took out battery, put, but it is not included! A: To try to wait longer - are known the cases when telephone it loaded 20 minutes. Q: MPx200 loaded after hovering, but everything "flew off" as after Hard Reset. A: Yes, such occurs. In that case it is necessary to make Hard Reset, and only after this to restore system from backup (if it is located, certainly). If we restore without Hard Reset'a, then after the following reloading everything again can "fly off". Q: After the hovering of 4 vynul/vstavil battery, awaited for long start but it so it did not load. A: It is necessary to pereproshivat' telephone anew. Q: What frequency can be safely advanced to MPx200? A: this ye2MGts. official maximum for OMAP710. Nevertheless, under WM2003 in bol'shenstve of the cases stably it works also on yyayaMGts. Q: What frequency can be safely advanced on other telephones? A: 4 I do not know. It is thus far small data on the hands. Is information that MPx220 it worked on 2shch2MGts (TCPMP shows 220MGts. why so - cm. "known problemy/osobennosti"), and Rover M1 hovered to y80MGts. Q: Where is located official site program? A: There is no official site as such. Program is discussed on forum Motorola MPx Team (BY): http://mpx.vvs-impex.com/forum/viewtopic.php?.t=2014 There it is possible to skachat' and last versions (in the cap of theme). Q: I did reveal glyuk/osobennost' not described in this file, as I can report this? A: To leave communication on the forum. It is desirable with the detailed description. Or to otpisat'sya on intruders@inbox.ru _______ Councils - ALWAYS MAKE BACKUP SYSTEMS BEFORE THE ACCELERATION! - ACCELERATE With THE MIND! maximum official frequencies for different processors are here for the information: - OMAP710 - 132MHz - OMAP730 - 192MHz - OMAP1611 - 204MHz ________________ Responsibility Program, as the saying goes, AS IS. For YOUR actions 4 of no responsibility I bear, and those by support I am not occupied. ________________ Intruders, 2006

Yea, try to figure it out ...lol
i did, running my mpx200 at 144 MHZ (standard is 120MHZ)on wm5, u should not get higher in case u wanna lose data , still testing though..

You may want to look at this site:

http://www.t9.com/t9_languages.html

I actually had a copy of that utility on one of my systems and being it is, to the best of my knowledge, freeware, here it is.

wtf / i cant see any dll files and that was the question, not how to edit it...
anyway YOU NEED THE DLL FROM THE SAME PHONE !! ONLY DIFFERENT OS..

I already tried it with an T9Dutch.dll file from another phone : SP3, but it didnt work prolly cuz of the lay-out of the mpx keypad...so please could u (or anyone) also get T9Dutch.dll from wm2003 ? it should work though ...

Anyone know of a good retail or freeware smartphone SIM card manager, that run's good at least on WM 2003? I want only the best rated one. The reason I am looking for one is that, the WM 5 image for the MPX200, if you dont know already, doesnt include a SIM card manager, so I cant copy contacts from the SIM to my phone. I can only save contacts to the SIM. Let me know folks. Thanks..

I bought at mediamarkt qtek stereo headset.
It has a volume knob and also a mic so you can use it as a headset.
And with the 2,5 mm mini jack i dont need a converter.

Its only cost 20 dollar or so.
