Interesting - I've seen at least one other "downgrader" to the "Q" . I'm re-evaluating my real needs at this point and thinking about whether or not I should go to the wireless sync scenario.

the unpatchability of my samsung i600 and DST woes finally drove me to get on the "Q" train. used the current $79 offer - not bad. they even slapped on the 2000 SMS allowance (after sales denied its existence), with a call into data central of course...

Sounds like a decent deal. The Q has it's pluses.

The Q definitely meets my needs better than a PPC Phone does. They can both do what I need them to, I just like the way the Smartphone OS does it better. There are some things about the PPC platform I miss sometimes, but I'm generally really happy with the Q. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
