I posted a guide on how to do this here. I was using an Orange SPV E200, but the steps should be the same with the SDA as well. I'm assuming you want to use your T-Mobile data connection to do it, right?

Well, the max speed of EDGE is around 170kbps or so. The max transfer speed of BT is around that same speed. So you should be able to get the full EDGE speeds while tethered over BT. I personally use an EVDO data connection, which is much faster than EDGE. Tethering via BT with it limits the data speeds, but that shouldn't be the case with you using EDGE.

It shouldn't be that much different that it won't work. There should be similar options to choose from, and it will be difficult to mess it up. And if you do you can just start over. What part of it is different?
