i know there is a micro sd to sd adaptor but is there a micro sd to mini sd adaptor

That's a good question. I've never seen one, but it seems that logically the microSD can fit in a miniSD slot, so there could be. Not yet I think, but wouldn't be surprised if one comes (or is already available).

It looks like the adapters are beginning to become available on eBay for about $7 shipped.

I bought a Patriot 2G micro that came with a micro to mini & a micro to SD adapter. It came packaged with the two adapters for $30-something. I forget the exact cost.
