I have so far been very happy with my Blackjack (except for the crappy battery life, even with the extended battery).

I'm sure this is probably a WM thing, but I hate when I open a program like Internet Explorer, it times out and returns back to the home screen, sometimes before the web site even finishes loading. I know that I can just go back to IE and the page will be there, but what I really want is to either increase this program timeout or eliminate it all together.

Any ideas for me?

Thanks!

Have you set your homescreen timeout in settings/home screen/time out to the setting you prefer? I have mine set to "never" meaning the phone will never return me to the homescreen I must always take me there...which is what I prefer. I will get error messages, for instance saying the internet page could not load (or, something like that). But, once I OK out of the message I'm still looking at pIE. Albeit, blank or full of red Xs (or, somewhere in between) etc.
