Hi fellow MPx200 users,

Have any of you managed to get Internet Explorer to connect to the Internet?

I called Rogers today and the technician indicated that I was on the GOAM plan and should therefore be able to use IE.

I tried entering the parameters for GOAM.COM as posted here but it still doesn't work. I even tried the INTERNET.COM parameters on the off chance that it might work ... no luck.

At this point, I'm not sure where I need to enter settings:

1) GPRS Connections
2) Proxy Connections
3) Both GPRS & Proxy

If someone has gotten it to work, could you be so kind as to respond?

Thanks,

HilaireG

Name: Rogers WAP, connects to the Internet. Access Point: goam.com. Username: wapuser1, password: wap. NO NEED for DNS, IP.

Proxy Connections:
Name: Rogers WAP Proxy, connects from the Internet to WAP Network. Proxy: 208.200.67.150:9201, Type:WAP, Username: wapuser1, password: wap.

Yeah, seems the only way for it to work is to fork out the $12/month for the 2MB data plan. That gives you access to the the internet.com APN.

That's how I got it to work.
