It works perfectly rotated. I don't think that it would be usable at all if it cannot be rotated. Watched several movies on mobile, intresting way in killing time. Very nice sound if 64kbps stereo.

Installed it last night and it's working great. And I agree, that's what I hated about the Windows Media Player- either it wouldn't rotate the movie or I couldn't figure out how to (which I doubt, but I guess that could be the case).

On the MPx 220 it does this so I am asuming it will do the same on the MPx 200, that is if 2002 version of BetaPlayer supports this. If you are using the 2003 version then it should.

2003 on mine, so that's good news. Thanks.

WM2003 is better for music reproduction. Install Betaplayer, it is free, and it is very very good. Can play Divx, Xvid movies, WAV, WMA and MP3 music files. And does the job perfect.

Will it let you play movies rotated 90 degrees? On my old PocketPC when you'd go to full screen, it would re-orient the screen so it was wider than it was tall. I was hoping WMP would do that on the MPX200 but it doesn't appear to.

I'm looking for something to play those files that will do that, if possible.

After many painful attempts, I finally set up my Internet on my MPx200/t-mobile successfully.  I'm in Colorado, USA.

Here are my settings:

[...]

I hope this helps anyone in the Western US region.  I had to search all over and combine different settings to finally get something that works.  I've seen many different settings with various success rates.  It would definitely appear that location impacts the required settings quite a bit.  As I said, I had to combine different settings from many different posts before I finally got something that worked.  Try this if you're in the western region (CO, NM, AZ, WY,  etc.), and good luck!  (BTW, I've got the $4.99 t-zones plan, and I can access the full Internet--but you didn't hear that from me!)

As a data point, these settings work for me in WA as well. Full internet with the T-Zones package (but it's now $5.99).

Thanks for the tips.
