You should try the blue ant Z9 very nice headset. I had the Jawbone it works to a point but it is too big.. Just my 2 cents..

The HTC TyTNII has some nice specs. We need to update a number of new phones on the site. Has anyone found a Kaiser for less than $800?

I have the Kaiser I bought it unlock and it was like $829.00 with shipping from Mobileplanet.com The Phone is great with WM6 Pro. It has a lot of feature and it is very fast specially on the net. I am on the net a lot check email and surfing.. It is on the Heavy side but thats ok by me. It feels very well made..

[attachment=3182:Jawbone.jpg]

Aliph, a leading developer of mobile audio products that deliver the best user experience in any environment, today announced that its Jawbone Bluetooth headset is going international. Jawbone is available in UK starting today for £79.99 through an exclusive retail partnership with The Carphone Warehouse.

Jawbone is a groundbreaking Bluetooth headset that integrates an advanced, military-grade noise cancelling system called Noise Shield that enables clear conversations even in the most extreme environments. Jawbone eliminates background noise, improves sound quality and seamlessly adjusts microphone and earpiece volume throughout the call. Its superior technology combined with premium design have earned Jawbone recognition as CNET’s “highest rated Bluetooth headset ever,” one of PC World’s “100 Best Products of 2007,” and Engadget’s “wearable device of the year,”

in addition to recent Spark and IDEA international design awards.

The Carphone Warehouse is Europe's leading independent retailer of mobile phones and services, with over 2,000 stores in 11 countries and 784 in the UK. The Carphone Warehouse has built up a significant Telecoms business that contributes to 50% of the group's revenue and is a major driver of future profitable growth.

"We’re thrilled to bring the Jawbone headset to the UK with The Carphone Warehouse” said Alexander Asseily, Aliph co-founder and head of European operations. “The demand for better Bluetooth headsets is here and by partnering with one of Europe’s most innovative mobile products retailers we’re able to bring Jawbone’s ground breaking technology and design to a sophisticated and demanding market."

“We’ve watched Jawbone launch off the charts in the US with leading retailers,” said Charlotte Alberry, Head of Mobile Entertainment and Accessories at Carphone Warehouse. “We’re thrilled to have the exclusive on this best-in-class headset and what is arguably the hottest mobile companion product to launch this year.”

I would not bother with this headset.. I had it and it way too big. This headset works to a point. If you are riding in the car and your ear is by the window people will hear the noise. There is a video about this headset but if you look at the guy in the car the ear that has the headset is not facing the window he is seating in the passenger side not the driver side... Now if you are in a park yes it does work because you are not moving toward wind.

It's not that I didn't like the headset, I did. I wouldn't want anyone to be detracted from trying or buying it because of my statement. I was totally willing to use it despite the minor complaints because of the great features, but then I found about the incompatibility with my phone and other BT devices (which is totally a problem with my phone). So I decided to wait until I get a new phone, then I can get the red one I like so much.

I have modified the Jabra slightly to make it more comfortable. I have one of those soft foam headphone covers on it. I really, really like it's earhook though. It's just so small and simple. Nothing major like the Jawbone's. I hate earhooks, so I can only stand them if they are unimposing.

I like the JX10 but the hook that JX10 brought broke fast one day I was trying to place on my ear. So I want out and bought ear gels and it help but it always felt is was going to fall off and it did one to two times. Now the hook on the Jawbone it is very strong like a Jaw...... hehehe
After a while I really did not felt the headset on my ear dispite the size of it. Hey Smeg36 has had almost all the headset that have come out and I listen to him a lot when it come to these stuff but this headset is really a great one better than JX10. Now if in 6 month one comes that smaller with the same feature then it will beat it.. I got the sliver one..

Awesome!

OK I am back from going to publix. I try it out in the freeway and it works great the person could hear me fine even tho I could not hear myself due having the windows down and the radio blasting. when you first look at the headset you are thinking where are the button to turn on and off you can not see them they are under the plastic that looks like a car racing pedal. On that plastic it is easy to fine the right place to press because it has a little edge that can be felt by ones finger and you press on it and thats how it's turn on and off and redial button and more..

Just bought one myself today. Can't wait to get it.

Ok I will try to get pic on the sit. Here is a mini review the headset is big compare to the JX10 but the feature are true. Here how I tested the noise shield. I turn my TV up all the way and my suround sound on as well very high on MTV channel in order to make it sound like a night club. Then I call my friend and start talking to him about new years. I talk like for 30 min and at the end of the conversion I ask him hey did you hear anything beside my voice and he said no why. I told him that I was testing this new headset and I have the TV and suround on and very high volume and he was very shock he ask me for the website of the headset. This is my new headset now on since I like to drive with my window down. The headset is comfortable on the ear I have no problems there and it does fit very well I try to shake my head to see if it fall and it does not. I will test out in my car now since I have to go to publixs and I need to get the freeway..

P.S. it has voice actived dialing, everything is control by 2 button in a different form for ex. to redial to press the talk button twice and so on.

I'm almost convinced to go buy one and try it out. I just stopped at the South Beach Cingular store, and they didn't have any though. They also had a sign-in list, and a 1/2 hour wait to talk to a representative. Can you believe that store stays in business? How does the headset feel when wearing it? That is one of the most important aspect of a BT headset to me. I'm very picky about the feel of the headset. I read somewhere while reading up about it that it wasn't so comfortable. I know, that's a subjective thing to measure, so I may just have to get one and see for myself. Anyone know Cingular's return policy?

I just bought this headset at cingular and it is charging now will let you know how it goes when I put it to use while drive on the high way. I love the JX10 but I had a hard time hearing ppl out in the streets. Smeg36 if this does what the maker say it does it will blow the JX10 out of the water. The size is big but the feature out weights the size of this headset.. It does not bring a case for it. Can anyone tell me if there is a case out there for it?????

Dunno if I should try the KingMax, or just go with the standard Sandisk.

I bought a 2 GB MicroSD Scandisk brand for $78.00 an auction off ebay and it works very well.

That is something that I will need to be on the lookout for. Judging from the way the back is, would make me question if it would work with the 3125's "hunch back". I am also looking for a case that wouldn't create the "bulge" of material on the back when the phone is open. I still like the looks of body gloves two piece case for the razrs. I think something like that would be perfect for the 3125 as well.

Do you have a link to that body glove case that you are talking about..

Thanks

I can think of a few really good headsets that are both small and really good. I love my JX10, but it can be a bit pricey. I got it cheap on ebay, but stores like CompUSA and Best Buy sell it for a lot. The Plantronics headsets are also very good, and much cheaper.

But is the JX10 as comfortable as the AX2??

I ask this because AX2 is good for ppl how where glass and over the ear bluetooth can be a pain at times.

Hard reset the phone should take care of internal memory. Put the card in a card reader and use a program like one of these tools.

How is the Hard reset done again ???

They have plenty of drivers, just none available for the Star Trek line of phones yet.

Not sure where you would purchase the case, I haven't found it anywhere. They did tell me about a week ago that they would be sending me a review sample.

I found where that case is being sold by Rusell here is the site : =7&data[model_id]=1076]Rusell Case

Click on cingular and you will see the phone model number 3125

That is the million dollar question. I should be getting their new Krusell Qtek 8500 model. There are also a few more around as well, but not too sure on the quality. I am hoping that body glove will make one similiar to their razr case (two piece). I can tell you not to get the skin cases for this phone, I have tried two different ones off of eBay, and you can't fully close the phone with it on there. I am still exploring options, but in my opinion things should work as intended out of box and shouldn't require modification.

Where can I buy that case from Krusell???

I second the JavoEDGE skin case. I got one for my wife (she picked the her own color). I was really impressed with it as compared to some of the earlier no name skin cases that came out for the 5600 sometime back. She loves it.
