Mobile Gadget News :: Making Your Mobile Life Simpler _ Other Phone Edition Devices _ My first days with the PPC4100 (Part 2b: Bluetooth?)

So is Bluetooth possible? While there is no Bluethooth hardware in the PPC4100, the software drivers are there for a Bluetooth SD card (yes, the SD slot is SDIO) - so it is Bluetooth ready. I figure the Bluetooth SD card would function well for this device - I did have a Toshiba Bluetooth card, even though I know their BTSD cards are only for Toshiba devices, I thought I'd try it anyway...well, it didn't work. So I'm going to have to buy the one from Socket to try it out.

That's too bad. The chip costs about $.15 so I dont understand why it isnt in there.

PPc firmware supports bluetooth but it is missing bluetooth chip. However you can add this funcnality by SDIO slot. Socket BT and wifi card are available from seller on eBay.
