Well, mpx200 using (AT&T)1900mhz and cingular(850mhz) is not capable with mpx200. So, try to find out if cingular are using 1900mhz in your area, if not, I doubt it if you will get service. Best option is to get a Mpx220, which does have 850mhz in it. |

Ok I bought a Motorola SLVR but I really really miss windows mobile. SLVR is a good phone but I have got used to mpx200 format. So, my question is can I used headphone on Mpx220 for I can listen to mp3s? So, I'm thinking about trading my SLVR for a Mpx220. But, am I making a big mistake? |

QUOTE (jacobras @ Dec 27 2005, 10:26 AM) Hello, I have installed WM5 on my MPx200, and I was wondering where the SD Card is :S . I can't acces him from my filemanager, and not from the computer (when the phone is connected to activesync) . How can I acces the SD card? You can't access the SD card because it's part of the system now. But, you still have the storage capacity of the the SD card. |

QUOTE (smeg36 @ Dec 24 2005, 10:13 PM) Yes. Part of the OS is installed on the SD card. Without it, it would be like trying to boot a PC that is missing the the HD the OS is on. There wasn't enough room on the ROM to install it all there, so they had to use the SD card to run part of it. Ok, I understand that but I have did everything as the instruction said. I came to the boot option and i select yes for clean hiv and format storage but after that it stays on the white screen for a long time. I did a hard reset several times. I even tried to boot it up without did a hard reset and it stays on the splash screen. |

This might be a stupid question, but is there a way I can make my mpx200 to use 850mhz? To do this, do I have to modified the hardware/circuits or the firmware? I was thinking that I could take an 850mhz/frequency component from a phone that support that frequency(like nokia 8595), and put it in my mpx200, if it hardware related. Then I have to modified the software/firmware to look for 850mhz. Any suggest will be helpful. There got to be a way to do this. |
