Here is a list of registry edits you can perform on your device. I am not responsable if you hose your device and I do not take credit for these, just compiling a list in one place for ease of use.

Enable List view in Start Menu:

\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shell\StartMenu
Change the GridView value to 0 if you want list view.
Change it to 1 if you want grid view.

Change the default music player folder: (this is for the player used on the external screen)

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\KEYPAD

change the KB_LIGHT_TIMEOUT from 200 to a higher number for a longer time out or to a lower number for a shorter timeout.

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\Startup

Here you can change the startup sound and the start up image.

I don't have the option for the KB_LIGHT_TIMEOUT in the reg. I did a reg. search and I couldn't find it. I have this HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\ . Is that something I can add in?
I did change my phone form grid view to list view, thanks for the info.
