Maybe you can explain to us what you're looking for? While the name of this forum is "Firmware Request" it's mainly for the Motorola MPx200.

I am not saying someone can't help you with this request but if you can provide some more details on what you're looking for you might have better results.

Not Smart Phone related, but this is an awesome phone. In my opinion the v600 is the model on which the new Smart Phones from Motorola should be based on.

I'll be writting a full review on this phone and posting it online in the coming days.

I never thought I'd find any interest in a camera phone but I find myself using the camera quite often. Add to it the bluetooth (something else I thought I would never use until I got a bluetooh headseat and USB adaptor in my latop)... talk about making it easy to SYNC. biggrin.gif

I've said this before so I'll say it again... do not attempt the WM2003 upgrade mentioned above on your MPx200. It will NOT work. You will end up with a $300 paper weight. I did extensive research on this topic about 3 months ago and found it simply will not work. I wish it would but it won't.

T-Mobile has changed it's terms and condtions to include a mandatory new fee which has now become effective. This fee was added for e911 and LNP. A new charge will now appear on your bill each month in the amount of $0.86.

By law you are not obligated to accept the new contract terms and condtions and you may cancel your current contract with no early termination fee.

You must notify T-Mobile within 30 days of receicing your March bill which includes a statement regarding the new terms and condtions.

To verify your could indeed cancel your contract with no early termination fee I did this myself and was not charged. I was allowed to cancel my contract with no penatly or fees.

I am not starting this post/topic in an attempt for everyone to call and threaten leaving due to the new terms and condtions, but offering this message as insight for anyone who is not happy with T-Mobile services and/or coverage in there area.

You can read more about this new fee by visiting T-Mobile's web site here: http://www.t-mobile.com/regfee/

T-Mobile is a excellent carrier and worked well for me, however my office is now paying for AT&T wireless data for employee phones so I left T-Mobile about a month ago.

It's not upto Microsoft, it's upto AT&T Wireless. Microsoft already released Smart Phone 2003. AT&T Wirless now has to customize the code to run on there network with the Motorola MPx200 phone. From news we know it will run on the MPx200 but AT&T Wireless has yet to release it to us.

Sign the petition Sean started and maybe one day we'll get Smart Phone 2003 for our MPx200 phones.

Which carrier do you need the data settings for?
